Interstat holds sole distribution rights to industry leading brands and products and are official distributors for all leading international stationery brands. Our growing list of over 7000 line items ensures that our customers are able find all the products that they require in one place. Whether they are in a major city or in a far outlying area, we deliver.

Interstat's History

Interstat began its operation in 1992.
The company has 4 branches across South Africa; Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Gauteng.
Durban was established in 1992 followed by Port Elizabeth in 2005, Cape Town in 2006 and finally Gauteng in 2015.
Durban, being the head office heads all administration and importing activities of the business.

Distribution

Interstat is able to service the entire Southern African market through our warehouses in Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg.

Interstat is able to service the entire Southern African market through our warehouses in Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg.Our core customer base consists of independent retailers, independent commercial stationers, buying groups and large national retailers.Each region is serviced by our own extensive delivery networks, third party freight vendors or through branch collections, which ensures that customers receive their orders promptly.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We believe in supporting the community we’ve grown in and as such support a local NPO, The Domino Foundation, improving the future by empowering children. The Domino Foundation supports orphaned and vulnerable children, allowing us to provide a wide range of initiatives that will guide them to a brighter future.
We further strengthen our commitment to Early Childhood Development by assisting creches in developing skills in running a successful business, becoming established businesses that will provide a quality education.

The Domino effect

The Domino effect is achieved through focused interventions which include:

• Domino Babies Homes;
• Domino Feeding;
• Domino Early Childhood Development;
• Domino Life Skills;
• Domino Literacy Programme.

Domino Foundation reaches North Durban communities with the majority of our projects impacting the Amaoti community.
